Christian Eriksen Officially Joins Brentford
Christian Eriksen has officially returned to the Premier League by joining Brentford in the January transfer window. His former club, Tottenham Hotspur, expressed his reaction. On Monday (31/01/22), the Danish playmaker was announced as a new Brentford player via the club's social media account on Instagram. Eriksen will be contracted for only half the season or until 2021/2022 is over. The West London club also did not include information related to the clause on the extension of the term of service when his contract expired. Brentford seems reluctant to take risks in this transfer. The reason is, Eriksen has a history of heart problems and now has to play with the help of a pacemaker. However, Brentford still wants to give Eriksen a chance after his contract with Inter Milan was terminated because the Italian League banned athletes from playing with pacemakers.
